Maharashtra Shiv sena
Shivsena President ‘Hindu Hruday Samrat’ Balasaheb Thackeray established Shivsena on 19th June 1966. For more than the last 50 years, the party has emerged as a strong force, through its actions, all around the country. The motto of ‘80% Samajkaran (Social work) & 20% Rajkaran (Political work), a thought on which ‘Hindu Hruday Samrat’ Balasaheb Thackeray had established the party, was the line on which Shivsena has been serving this country.
This is now being taken forward by Shivsena President Uddhavsaheb Thackeray, with strong support coming from Shivsena leader and Yuvasena President Aaditya Thackeray. Your contribution will only help us to provide better seva (service) to the state and to the country, alike. Your contribution will add to the service, security and the development undertaken by Shivsena, and for which we are extremely grateful and thank you.
Shri. Uddhavsaheb Thackeray
A beacon for Hindutva and the guiding light and leader for every Maharashtrian is Shivsena President Uddhavsaheb Thackeray. After ‘Hindu Hriday Samrat’ Balasaheb Thackeray, Shivsena’s leadership was taken over by Uddhavsaheb as he continued the party’s goal and strategy to keep the saffron flag flying high and proud in national politics. He continued on the path of opposing those who took decisions against the benefit of the common man, especially those in power, and most importantly, he stood with the people of Maharashtra, taking decisions for and only for their benefit and prosperity.

He not only believed in ‘fighting for your rights’, but also advocated the youth to stand up for their own rights and raise their voice in the face of injustice. This leadership created an impact on local colleges along with the efforts of Yuvasena as his leadership was seen as inspirational.
